Em Barton

Em Barton (they/she) is a PhD candidate at York University in Cinema and Media Arts. Their SSHRC funded research is about grassroots queer / feminist film scenes in Toronto from the 1970s to the early 2000s.

During the Queer Summer Institute, she did administrative and logistic support.
